Blooming Moments: Discovering Ourselves Through Colour

Every flower carries its own colour and soul.
The gentle warmth of soft pink, the joyful brightness of yellow, the quiet purity of white, and the passionate depth of crimson—
each flower blooms in its own unique way, never competing with another.
Whenever I create floral arrangements, I often find myself thinking that colour is,
in many ways, the language of emotion.

When choosing flowers, I am not simply designing an arrangement.
I am also listening to my own heart.
Sometimes I choose soft white flowers because I long for peace.
Sometimes I am drawn to warm shades of red because I wish to embrace courage and warmth.
Little by little, I realised that we often discover ourselves through colour.

In Japanese aesthetics, there is a beautiful concept called 「色」 (iro).
It means more than colour alone— it also reflects the spirit and vitality of life.
Just as the colours of flowers change with the seasons, our hearts also change with time.
This is not uncertainty, but the natural flow of life.
It reminds me that
true beauty is not found in remaining unchanged,

but in staying true to ourselves as we grow and change.
Whenever I finish a floral arrangement and place it gently in the sunlight, I quietly watch the colours breathe.
They seem to whisper:
There is no need to imitate anyone. There is no need to fit perfectly into every expectation.
As long as you bloom in your own rhythm, your own light will naturally shine.

Blooming is a quiet conversation with the heart.
And perhaps, we are each the truest colour within our own petals.
