As the morning sunlight slowly filters through the curtains, the gentle fragrance of flowers and tea
quietly fills the air. In that peaceful moment, the whole world seems softer.
This little corner is my favourite place, and also where inspiration visits me most often.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Here, I arrange flowers, write my Japanese study notes, organise floral materials, brew tea,
and listen to music. It is not luxurious, but it has a rhythm all its own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My workspace sits beside a window, with a simple wooden desk.
A small vase holds my favourite seasonal flowers. Sometimes they are delicate baby's breath, and
sometimes soft carnations.
A notebook rests on the desk, filled with Japanese phrases, floral inspirations, and little thoughts from each day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the afternoons, I love making a pot of Japanese tea, opening the window, listening to the breeze and
birds singing, and allowing myself to slow down.
To me, this little corner is more than a workspace.
It is a place where my heart always finds its way home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sometimes I feel that the language of flowers and the language we speak are not so different.
Both need to be listened to, and both deserve to be felt.
Whenever I study Japanese, flowers naturally come to mind.
For example, the word \u300c\u306f\u306a (\u82b1)\u300d instantly reminds me of a flower quietly blooming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Whenever I arrange flowers, I also remember why I first fell in love with language.
Every flower, like every word, deserves to be understood with care and appreciation.
I enjoy this feeling of having a gentle conversation in silence\u2014
as if I am exchanging warmth with both myself and the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Some friends ask me,\n\n\"Doesn't it take a lot of time to create this little space every day?\"
I always smile and reply,\n\n\"Actually, this is how I help myself slow down.\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I believe beauty does not have to be perfect.\n\nIt only needs to be sincere.
A quiet corner, a cup of tea, and a single flower
are enough to remind me that life is not about rushing\u2014\n\nit is about appreciating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Whenever I work, teach Japanese, or design floral arrangements in this peaceful atmosphere,
I feel not only the joy of creating,
but also the happiness of being gently embraced by everyday life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Perhaps my little corner is just a simple place.
Yet it quietly holds the most genuine moments of each day.
